1 May 2026 Happy May Day!
As we welcome May, we're reminded of growth, renewal and looking ahead to the future. For our students, this is an especially important time as exam season approaches.
Across our Trust and academies, we're encouraging everyone to look after their health and wellbeing – getting enough rest, eating well, staying active and taking moments to pause and breathe. Small, positive habits now can make a big difference, helping young people feel confident, resilient and ready to achieve their best.
Exams are just one step on a much bigger journey. By supporting healthy minds and bodies today, we're helping to create strong, successful futures for tomorrow.
Wishing our whole community a positive and motivating May Day.

View PostKindness in Action: Inspiring Students in Our Trust These two superstars have won this year's Gosforth Academy Kindness Award. The award started last year and gives Gosforth Academy staff and students the chance to nominate students who have performed an act of kindness, however small, in school or their local community. Bruce D and Oliver M, both in Year 9, recently helped a member of the public who collapsed in the street in Gosforth by making sure they were comfortable, reassured, and that an ambulance was called. The voting panel selected these two students because of the bravery and community spirit they both showed. They displayed our school values and are an absolute credit to our community! #gosforthgroup #creatingfutures #gosforthacademy #RoleModels #YoungHeroes #CelebratingKindness #ProudOfOurStudents
