This was only the third group to take part in this incredible programme. Gosforth Academy Remembrance Service On 10th November, our community came together to honour those affected by conflict, past and present. Led by our incredible students, the service featured moving readings, music, and a moment of reflection. Principal Mr Chahal shared: "Remembrance invites us to reflect on courage, compassion, and peace." A local resident said: "It was incredibly moving... a fabulous combination of music, video and readings." Poetry in Action at Newcastle University! Today, our talented Year 9 and 10 students from Gosforth Academy immersed themselves in a powerful poetry experience hosted by Poetry by Heart at Newcastle University. A special shout-out to our brilliant Year 10 performers who captivated a packed auditorium with their heartfelt recitations, a proud moment for our school community! We were also inspired by live performances from renowned poets Daljit Nagra and Liz Berry, reminding us of the transformative power of words.
