Salary:    N11 -  £52,566 to £55,840 per annum (pay award pending)

Hours:  Full time, 37 hours per week, all year round

Contract:     Permanent

Start date:    ASAP

Location:      Gosforth Group Head Office, Seaton Burn

You will be employed by the Gosforth Group and may need to work across all locations within the Multi Academy Trust as required.

About the role

The Deputy Director of Finance is responsible for ensuring effective management of the Trust’s financial systems and processes through the targeted planning, implementation and embedding of finance projects, policies, procedures and initiative, aligned to the core purpose and strategic direction of the Trust ensuring compliance with Financial and Statutory Regulations.

As a fast-growing multi-academy trust, timely, accurate financial information and control is paramount, as such we are looking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to lead the team and help bring about organisational change.

The Deputy Director of Finance will work regularly with key internal and external stakeholders and provide support to other members of the central finance team and the Director of Finance.
