Location: Gosforth Academy, with travel across the Trust as required

Contract type: Full time, 37 hours per week (flexible working options may be considered)

Contract term: Fixed Term to 31 October 2024 (Maternity Cover)

Salary: N7 (SCP 25-29) £32,020 - £35,411 (Pay Award Pending)

Reporting To: Deputy HR Director – HR Services

 

Gosforth Group require an enthusiastic and proactive HR Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting four of our academies and the Central Trust Support Team across all aspects of operational HR.

This is a unique opportunity to join us at an exciting time as we plan to grow and further develop our HR function to support the continued provision of an efficient and effective Trust-wide HR service and facilitate the Trust’s aims for growth.

The HR Manager will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle and play a key role in supporting the growth and development of key HR services.

You'll be an experienced HR professional who understands how to achieve our Trust vision through the provision of an excellent HR support and advice service, providing advice to the academy leadership team on all employee relations matters, ensuring effective resolution and supporting leaders through Trust/Academy change programmes.

As HR Manager you will be a confident communicator with proven experience of all aspects of HR delivery and able to contribute and support on HR related projects to drive change and improvement throughout the academies you support.

You will have a calm, organised nature, with the ability to work professionally to strict deadlines, responding effectively and efficiently to challenges and bringing vision and a drive to make things happen. You will be able to communicate confidently and effectively with diverse audiences. You will have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently, maintaining a positive and successful working relationship with colleagues across the Trust.
