    Our Partnerships

Callerton Academy & Luzhansk Secondary School, Ukraine: Through the British Council’s UK-Ukraine School Partnerships programme, Callerton Academy has partnered with Luzhansk Secondary School. This collaboration aims to foster cross-cultural understanding and promote reading for pleasure among students in both countries.

Gosforth Academy & Newcastle Falcons: Our longstanding partnership with the Newcastle Falcons rugby team offers students unique opportunities to engage with professional athletes, enhancing our sports education and fostering a spirit of teamwork and resilience.

Newcastle United Foundation: Our academies partner with Newcastle United's Foundation, which has a dedicated team that delivers interactive and inclusive lessons in classrooms, playgrounds, and at their specialist facility, NUCASTLE. The program uses the power of football to engage our pupils, aiming to improve their physical and mental health, enhance their learning and career prospects, and provide life-changing opportunities for everyone, regardless of their goals. Through education, sports, personal development, and wellbeing programs, the Foundation helps our pupils become more active, learn new skills, and feel happier and healthier.

Gosforth Group & University of Oxford: We are excited to partner with the University of Oxford's Department of Education on the 'Five-Year Itch' project.

This research initiative explores the motivational factors influencing the career decisions of early-career teachers in England, aiming to address teacher retention challenges.

Our involvement underscores the Trust's commitment to contributing to national educational research and supporting teacher development.

Gosforth Group & Better Health at Work Award: In recognition of our ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of our staff, Gosforth Group is proud to partner with the Northern TUC, supported by Public Health England, as we begin our journey towards achieving Maintaining Excellence status in the Better Health at Work Award. This award acknowledges and supports employers across the region who prioritise improving employee health and wellbeing. Our partnership demonstrates a proactive approach to supporting the physical and mental health of our staff, ensuring they have the resources and support necessary to thrive both professionally and personally.

These awards and partnerships exemplify Gosforth Group's unwavering commitment to excellence and our dedication to providing students with diverse and enriching experiences, while also prioritising the wellbeing of our dedicated staff.
