    Great Park Academy SATS Results

    Great Park Academy has consistently seen student outcomes that exceed the national average across all subject areas. The percentage of students meeting the expected standard in reading, writing, and mathematics combined increased from 80% in 2023 to 82% in 2024. Additionally, the percentage of students achieving the greater depth standard in reading, writing, and mathematics combined remained well above the national average at 20%.

    Katherine Billingsley, Head of School, commented, "Our students prepared for the assessments with great enthusiasm and diligence. Throughout the autumn and spring terms, we conducted a series of practice tests, giving our students the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the test format. This ensured that all students felt confident when approaching their exams. We are incredibly proud of what our students achieved in their end of key stage assessments."

    Gosforth Junior High Academy SATS Results

    Students at Gosforth Junior High Academy have once again surpassed the national average in Key Stage 2 assessments. In 2024, the percentage of students achieving the expected standard in reading, writing, and mathematics combined increased to 72%, up from 67% the previous year, and our figure remains above the national average of 61%. Our students particularly excelled in mathematics, with 83% achieving the expected standard and 40% attaining a greater depth standard last year. Similarly, in reading, 40% of students also achieved a greater depth.

Delivered by committed and enthusiastic staff, the preparation undertaken by students in the lead-up to the tests was thorough and insightful, ensuring that all children felt confident, relaxed and capable of achieving their very best on the day.     Gosforth Academy GCSE Results

    Gosforth Academy reported a successful year of GCSE results with many best-ever academy headline measures.

    Principal Preit Chahal said, “This particular year group was superb in terms of behaviour and attitude but still had to contend with all the challenges of the post-pandemic landscape. We are especially proud of our recently released progress figure of +0.64, which puts us in the top 3% of schools in the North East.”

    Headline figures:

    • 88% of students achieved Grade 4+ in English
    • 86% of students achieved a Grade 4+ in Maths
    • 82% of students achieved a Grade 4+ in English & Maths combined
    • 67% of students achieved a Grade 5+ in English & Maths combined

    Numerous exceptional performances have been recorded, including 29 students who were awarded an average Grade of 8+. However, a special mention must go to Matthew Ansell, who managed a clean sweep of Grade 9s!

    Jesmond Park Academy GCSE Results

    Jesmond Park Academy is extremely proud of all its Year 11 students for their outstanding GCSE results. The students demonstrated exceptional dedication and resilience, leading to remarkable achievements. The teaching and support teams were thrilled to celebrate with the students on their special day.

    Executive Headteacher, Steve Campbell stated, "In this year's results, we have seen some of the best outcomes in the history of Jesmond Park Academy, with 370 grades awarded at Grade 8 or above. I am proud of every student; their hard work has truly paid off."

    Special congratulations go out to Nadeen Al-Badr, Amelie Brooks, Niamh Riley and Sariah Khan, who all obtained 9 GCSEs at Grade 9 and to George Merrifield and Zachariah Al-Gheblawi who both obtained 8 GCSEs at Grade 9 and 2 GCSEs at Grade 8.

    North Gosforth Academy GCSE Results

    North Gosforth Academy is pleased to announce an increase in the number of students achieving headline grades across core subjects. Notable highlights include a rise in the percentage of students achieving a Grade 4+ in English, which increased from 60% to 69%, and in Maths, which improved from 60% to 68%. Additionally, the percentage of students attaining a Grade 4 in both English and Maths increased by 13% to 60%. There was also a 4% improvement in the percentage of students achieving a Grade 7+ in both subjects.

    Executive Headteacher, Pete Fox said, “These improvements reflect the drive and dedication of our teaching staff, the hard work and focus of our students, and, of course, the support our students receive at home from parents and carers.”
