As Chair of Trustees, I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of all our governance volunteers. As members, trustees and governors, our role is to provide strategic leadership, ensure accountability, and uphold the highest standards of education for all our children and young people.

We support and challenge our schools to meet our shared ambition of delivering a high-quality curriculum, providing a safe and supportive learning environment, and preparing all our children and young people for a successful transition into adulthood.

To achieve this, we collaborate with school leaders, staff, parents, and the wider community. We follow the key principles of equity and inclusion and uphold the seven Nolan principles of public life (selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, and leadership).
